Custom Build

I have spent the vast majority of my time as a designer in the specific field of custom design and construction. I believe that this is a specific area of expertise not dissimilar to that of sustainable building or renovations. It is not accurate to call yourself a custom house builder because you are willing make changes to one of your existing models. To be a custom house builder you need a very higher level of communication, attention to detail, product knowledge and ability to source new and innovative materials. More than anything however, you need to be willing and able to listen to the customer, hear what it is they are saying and establish what exactly it is that they are trying to accomplish. To bring forth a plan and be able to deliver exactly that. Custom house building is about the customer. As i like to say:
